Looking for Flights?
Flight Search Engines
Google Flights
Google Flights is my go to when I want to search flights and timings, etc. It’s a great way to find flights for your upcoming trip. You can search for flights by destination and date, and you can also compare prices between different airlines. Google Flights also offers a price alert feature, which will notify you when the price of a flight you’re interested in drops below a certain amount.
Skyscanner
is where you can compare and book flights, using pretty much every airline you can think of. What I love about Skyscanner is the multicity feature where you can search flights going across a multitude of destinations. If you’re flexible with your timings and dates, you’ll be able to find fantastic deals using Skyscanner.

Where to stay
My Go-To Accommodation Platforms
Booking.com
When it comes to finding a place to stay while on vacation, Booking.com is one of the best resources available and where I go 90% of the time to book accommodation. The website offers a wide range of hotel accommodation options, from budget-friendly to luxurious, and makes it easy to compare prices and read reviews from other travelers.
Vrbo
Vrbo is another vacation rental site which is similar to Airbnb. One major difference is that they offer only entire properties and not rooms or house sharing. It’s often seen as an ethical alternative to Airbnb and their customer service is way better, with direct support rather than just online robot chatting. The offer the usual apartment accommodations, as well as funky tree houses and luxury chalets.
Pro Tip:
Watch out for the free room upgrades Booking.com offer on certain hotels!

Never leave the country without travel insurance – while it’s not often you’ll need it, it’s when you need it that you’ll regret not having it!
